What are Verida Missions?
Verida Missions are a way for you to take the first steps towards taking ownership of your personal data. It’s an opportunity for you to be at the forefront of this movement. Be one of the first to try Verida’s cutting edge tech for self-sovereign data, a new paradigm shift for managing your personal data.
We have created Verida Missions to give our early adopters and supporters the opportunity to trying new features and learn all about how you can take control of your data with self-sovereign technology, while having fun and earning XP along the way
How do I get started with Verida Missions?
Download the Verida Wallet
Ensure that you have the Verida Wallet installed on your mobile device. The Verida Wallet is a self-custody web3 mobile wallet that allows you to manage your identity, credentials and crypto securely.
Create a Verida Identity
If you don't already have a Verida Identity, you will be prompted to create one. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your decentralized identifier (DID) on the Verida Network.
Important: Make sure to securely back up your seed phrase. This is a very important step, because the seed phrase effectively serves as ownership of your account, identity and data stored on Verida Network.
Connect to Verida Missions
Go to Verida Missions. Connect using Verida Wallet and sign in with your Identity to start completing missions and earning rewards.
Explore and Complete Missions
Browse through the available missions and select a mission that interests you. Each mission will have specific tasks, such as onboarding, claiming credentials, or participating in activities related to the Verida ecosystem. The instructions will guide you through the steps required to complete the mission successfull.
Earn XP (Experience Points)
As you complete tasks, you will earn XP, which can later be converted to VDA storage credits, allowing you to securely store your credentials and other personal information on Verida Network.
Stay Informed Through Discord and on socials
Join Verida's Discord community to stay updated on new activities, missions, and announcements. Discord is often used to communicate with the Verida community and provide real-time updates. You can also follow us on Twitter, LinkedIn and subscribe to keep up to date.
Refer and Earn
Refer friends to join Verida Missions and earn additional XP.
